The Texas Motorplex in Ennis is getting ready for one of the biggest drag-racing weekends of the year, the 2026 Texas NHRA Fall Nationals. With the event getting closer, excitement is already building among racers and fans who are looking forward to seeing some of the fastest cars in the country hit the track.
The Fall Nationals will be part of the Stampede of Speed, which brings several days of racing, events, and entertainment to the Motorplex. Once the NHRA weekend arrives, fans will get to see Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, and other classes battle it out down the famous all-concrete quarter-mile.
This year's event should be especially exciting with NHRA celebrating its 75th anniversary. With championship points also becoming more important as the season moves along, there will be plenty on the line for the drivers.
For the Texas Motorplex staff, getting ready for an event this big takes plenty of work. From preparing the track and facility to getting everything ready for thousands of fans, there's a lot happening behind the scenes before the first cars ever fire up.
As October gets closer, the anticipation will only continue to grow. When the Fall Nationals finally arrive, Texas Motorplex will once again be the place to be for drag-racing fans across Texas and beyond.
